Reflection

Reflection 

For the photography unit the class and i where asked to do some homework and take photos to the theme of reflection. 

Reflection of time

For this idea i was thinking about doing something to do with memories but i stepped back from that idea because the emotional factor would confuse the image. So i decided to go literal and got a reflection of a clock on the wall and used it as a joke for me as the clock is broken and stuck at half nine.


Reflection of colour

For the idea of colour reflection was from a painting unit, in class we where learning about colour theory and how colours only are seen through reflections after class while cleaning the paint from my brushes i choose to use a different cup of water for different colours and i got a clean variant of the colours and used that for one of the photos.

Convex reflection 

This idea was because i was having trouble drawing reflections of light in the eyes so i took this photo to help then i added it to the photo as a good example of the curving nature of convexed objects and its effects for reflections.



Reflection of light through spaces between the leaves

For the last two images i thought of the effects of light in different situations the above image was the use of space between objects to create patterns on the ground.

The lower image was the patterns formed form the reflection on the water almost like scales.
