Viewpoint 

For one of our units we have been asked to create a cover and centre page for a magazine called viewpoint.

First is to do market research and look at magazines aimed at18 to 30 year olds.

After market research i played around for the layouts for the cover in Microsoft word by creating boxes for images and text box to indicate writing and this is where i played around with typeface.

One thing i notice about the market research was the focus for the covers were normally on an upcoming or award winning movie, series or book. So i looked for an upcoming animated movies to make a focus on. I made a list o movies i thought about covering.

After looking into focusing on a movie as a cover i decided against it as it would give the wrong impression as i was thinking of an tutorial magazine rather then a advertisement magazine. so i created my on image for the cover.

I created the cover in steps making sure to document it in development as in my centre page i would show the steps to recreate it giving the idea of an tutorial steps. 

I also made a back page as a example of reader submitted works much like the magazines i was influenced by.
